  1. Here in the west we tend to have dogs as pets so we don’t eat them. We don’t tend to have sheep for pets so some of us eat them, personally I don’t like the taste so I don’t. In India we think that the people are nuts the way they don’t eat cows yet the population has many folks starving to death which to us seems really stupid. Our cultures are different and we tend to value and devalue animals different. To me the thought of killing dogs and “having” to eat them is very sad. But, I would not want to eat any bugs or monkey brains either, or snakes. If a person is a total vegetarian then I guess they can have a valid argument but if a person eats any meat of any kind then their argument is rather weak.
